Think of it this way... If the muzzleloader is low cost, made in china, its a good'n.. If its high cost and made in china, its junk. Everytime i buy electronics or tools made in china and they are expensive, the always go out on me fast. Their cheap stuff always seems to last longer.

You mean Norenco Arms. Well made of cheap material with little shooting instructions but great shooting guns with the right ammo. M97 is the model number I bought two cases of them from someone going out of business and still have 5 of them in the family. The wood is press board that is functionable with a finish that looks like real wood till you chip it.
Features, A great trigger group that come off with two big flat headed screws for cleaning. Two other big screws gets the whole action off the stock. Two safety's as well a cross bolt and a bolt lock. It is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and is easy to clean.
If you like SKS rifles you will like this gun the trigger is almost identical as far as creep and break rates I guess around 3-5lb.
Factory sights do suck, not how they adjust the sight picture is poor. You do have to clean the things real well or they will give you problems especially the breech plug.
It has a twist close to 1:48 loves roundball and light REAL bullets. Real BP and T7 is what they like to be fed with max loads 90g or less.
Bottom line is if it was all I could afford I would have no problem hunting with them but I like my expensive guns better.

Yes, I have seen them on the gun boards with the new stock and if they have also changed the twist rate that is a good thing. I think they are now called the "Legacy" or something like that.
If it is under $100 Canadian it could be a good deal.

what I am looking at has a 1:28 twist synthetic stock boltaction. It has a blued barrel but the inside of the barrel is nickel plated.
