I just got one at Christmas time, kinda a present to myself. I'm still waiting for the weather to get better. I have no problem admitting I'm a wuss when it come to the cold weather. I'll have all spring and summer to shoot it before next deer season. I topped my Wolf off with a Bushnell Sportview shot gun scope 1.5-4.5x32. Got 245 grain Power Belt bullets, some loose and 50gr. pellet Pyrodex to try out. It'll get nice one of these days.

I can't remember maybe $60-$80 dollars. I bought a Nikon Prostaff 2x7x32 to put on my Wolf but I liked it so much I put it on my 1187 slug gun. The Nikon was $125 plus tax.

Hey there Savage arms I have one and it shoots very well it is a good gun to start with if you daont have the money for a more expensive one. I t will kill deer dead just as well as any MZldr. I shot a nice 10 point last year at about 75 yrds and he went down where he was standing. When target practicine i get good groups at 100 and really havent spent much time sighting it in. I am using 777 pellets two of them and 245 grain powerbelts with cci primers and have never had a problem with this combo.

Well, I hope I can do better than that with mine. Did you mess with the different power volumes and different bullet sizes much at all?

I just bought a CVA in line a few months ago and love it. I originally did not purchase a scope, but decided I needed one. The Bushnell scope that CVA sells with its rifles retails for $70, but I was able to purchase one unopened on Ebay for $40 including shipping.

I love Ebay sometimes.

This is actually Savage Arms on my other account..... I was wondering how Pyrodex pellets was a good "powder" to use in these ml's. Also i was wondering how quickely this gun will put a deer on the ground after the shot? I kinda like to track them a lil bit.
