The new TC looks to be sweet. I will wait and pass judgment on the removable breech plug. I am sure TC knows what they are doing or they wouldn't release it. I bet it will shoot though everything else TC makes has been a good shooter.

oldwun,
I handleded it and removed thr plug on the spot. Seemed very simple. The plugdoes have three rings of steel like a piston from a engine on the end of the breech plug to prevent gass from coming back to the breech. It has a thread design like the prohunter EXCEPT knurred and removeable w/ your fingers!
Me personally I like the straight inline Omega but the Triumph barrel when titlted up willnot allow the dirties to fall into the breech area.
Different look and design, both should satifiy most.... Real cool piece. Just a couple $ more than an Omega too!

Well I do 2 more slots in the gun safe so one of these might be just the ticket. My wife says no new guns unless they are replacing one. No problem I am giving my 2 sons their inheritence early. While we love it my wife says it's adirty trick. She is right!!

How soon are they on the market? I talked to someone this morning about it and they had no info on it yet - pricing or otherwise. They thought it may be a couple months yet b4 they hit the shelves.

As for the gun, did you like it and would you buy one?

Im assuming you are a dealer of somesort?

Can I buy one from you?

Okietreedude,
I can't give you a ETA yet. We placed our order @ the shot show and then the accessories when we got back the 15th. I'm a sales rep for one of the approx. 20 distributors in the US. We happen to be be a master dist of TC and they happen to be are one of my favorite companies in the firearms industry for obvious reasons.

We only sell to store front dealers, LE agencies and sometimes direct to our govt.

If any of you havea favorite dealer in your home town that I do not have an acctW/OR alreadyhave asmy acct I will TRY to help youaquire one of new rifles first.... Min requirement is over 50 posts. First 5 guys to PM me will get first crack.... I will post the screen names in order...

Just be aware that all these items are allocated first to the dist then to the salesperson who work for dist, so it make take some time....
I can see the passion here so I will be happy to help any one out.
I have zero control over retail pricing.....IOW what your dealer will charge you.

Around here the news is the Triumph will be an econo Encore $400 or less and the new Icon will be an $800 rifle or more depending on trim. As I stated earlier thank god the Icon doesn't have a left handed version because I can't spend $800 on a new rifle right now and would have to sell guns to buy one

Results so far...

#1- Okietreedude gets first rifle pick

Pittsburghhunter,
I seriously doubt that you find any triumph for $400.00. I'm sure they all will go for a premium for the first year unless the market is flooded and I'll bet that won't happen....
