Beautiful piece! what is it?

It's a 30 year old CVA Hawken 50 cal. It came through with a Greenish finish originally. I never much cared for that and after causing a few scratches by letting it ride in a wood wagon with a dead deer behind a tractor, I decided to take the plunge and refinish it. turned out to be one of the easiest things I ever did.
