ok,
I had a problem with the barrel of my Omega rocking in the stock.
I took a washer and hot glued it to the inside of the back mount hole and that solved the problem.

Exactly - that is one of the things mine was doing also.. I cut a teflon shim to fit... When I get the new stock back from TC - I am going to bed the lugs though...

Is bedding something I can do myself or should I have a gunsmith do it?

You can do it yourself. Ive done 2-3 rifles so far. Just make sure you coat the barrel really good with the stuff they supply or else that barrel will be stuck and u'll never get it off.
