My first buck with the new omega, it is also my biggest ever! Those Barnes MZ's really drop the hammer on deer, this guy dropped in his tracks. Thanks for all the info on this site!

Crimson - congratulations on a terrific buck. What kind of powder charge were you shooting and how far away was that monster from you when you dropped the hammer? Do you shoot the 250 or 300 grain Barnes Expanders?

Again, congratulations.. and your biggest to boot. I bet I know what you hunt deer with next time..

I'm shooting the 250gr expanders over top 100grs of Shockeys Gold 3F. I sighted in out to 160yds but I wacked this guy at 40 heart shot, put him on his face. Those MZ's are nasty!! I doubt I'll be shooting anything else for a long time. Thanks

Sweet buck. I have two packs of 250 grain Expanders I'm going to try. I have heard nothing but good things about them.
Congrats.
