Used to use very heavy loads until i found they are not needed. Just got into Jim Shockeys Gold. Not sure about it yet until i try that new can of Triple 7 that has been sitting here for months. Currently use:
90 grains of Jim Shockeys Gold
240 grain XTP-not Magnum, or 250 grain SST
Winchester 209Primers For M/L
These bullets shoot to the same point of impact in both the guns that i currently use.

It depends on my mood too. Last year for deer I used 120 grains of Pyrodex, and 240 grain Powerbelts. This year I'm using American Pioneer powder substitute. I think I'll be hunting with 300 grain T/C XTP Mag Sabots. I'll probably use 120 grains again.
