got a bass pro spring hunting catalog has one pictured in there... what is up with that ????should be available feb 15 2002... good looking smoke pole...by the way it is a inline...gate<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

I guess there will always be room for another inline in the marketplace. I wonder if Winchester is actually making them or if some else is making them for Winchester?This should be interesting hearing how it performs.Since it's has the Winchester name on it, I'm sure it will be well made or it won't be around very long. Rumor has it that it is made in Italy (from the same manufacture as CVA), shipped to Winchester for assembly and stamping Winchester's name on it. Don't know for sure if this is the straight poop or just rumor.

It ought to be equal to all the other in-lines as far as velocities, energies, and accuracy is concerned.

The picture I saw looked more like one of the Traditions models, which I understand are made in Spain. Maybe it isn't one of these, but it has a Winchester price tag - about $100.00 more than Traditions!!
