Wondering if anybody has had this problem. I've read on some other message boards that some have gotten there encore stainless from the place where they have bought them and disassemble them to find rust around the barrel and reciever. I'm really intrested in this gun but don't know if I should get the stainless or just get the blued.

Get the stainless. It will rust but it's easy to get off.

Mine is stainless and I love it. (And my wife who bought it for me on our 25th anniversery.) Jim

I have an Encore 209x50 stainless and think it is great. I have not had a problem with it and not expecting too. They are a great gun.

I have a blued inlne. There is not a spec of rust on it anywhere.
I clean it thoroughly after every day it is shot.
