Another cal. question
I know this subject has been beat to death but I would like to hear some opinions on a good cal. for Elk and Bear. I'm thinking .54 cal. I'll be shooting around 100 to 150yds max.
If I have the dough I was going to check out the T/C Encore with the interchangable barrells so I can switch back and forth between a .45 (deer and antelope at out to 200yds) and another cal. Anyone have one? How do you like being able to switch out barrels? What is a good price on one?
Thanks
Kirk

RE: Another cal. question
In my openion I would stay away from the 45 cal encore untill they change the twist rate.I have one and it just doesn't impress me at all.Been trying to sell it for a good price.
I have the 50 cal and it shoots great.
A 50 cal will take anything you want to hunt.
