Default Waiting for my encore!

Well by now I was hoping to have some pics and maybe some targets showing some impressive groups from my encore. I ordered it from a shop in March! The have been hounding them at the gun shop and they say they are waiting for the order from TC. I am a disapointed to say the least. Anyone know if this is the normal wait time? I know they are getting their pro hunters out to the dealers but why wouldn't they send encores with the order? The pro hunter is worth about $200.00 more than the deal I am getting with the encore. Anyone have any answers? I want to start shooting already![:@]

Encores are not all that hard to find on shelves, let alone order. Granted most States require an FFL because of the ability to change barrels. I hope you did not pay anything down on the rifle before the order. Because if it was me, and I had not received it yet, I'd be telling them I would go somewhere else... That just sounds like an extremely long time. I wonder if they are waiting to make sure they get a certain sized order or something before they call Thompson Center so they get better rates...

Out of curiosity, call Thompson Center on Monday and ask them what is holding the order up and see what they have to say. It sounds more to me like you're being jerked around.

Then again, now noting you're from Ontario Canada, maybe there are a lot more hoops to jump through and forms to fill out to get the thing sent into your country. I have heard some strange reports of people attempting to get muzzleloaders and supplies in Canada. We in the United States sometimes forget we have it kind of good when it come to getting something we want. Although some of our States are getting rather strict on their sales of different items as well.

Good luck and I hope you get the rifle ASAP.

I was just going to mention that I am in Canada. Not sure about the border processes now. I know there are a few on the shelves around up here but the price I got from this particular shop was over $100.00 dollars cheaper. Just thought you might know why it is taking so long. I know that there is another guy waiting on an encore from the same store. Our bass pro shop up here doesn't even have an encore and they are a USA company. Pretty frustrating waiting this long though. I want to start shooting.

That's kinda strange. Bass Pro even has the Encorefor salein their fall hunting catalog. You would think they would carry them in all the stores also.

I knew someone in Canada that had a problem getting a realistic M4 paintball rifle through the border process. He had to wind up paying additional charges.
