Nikon Omega Muzzleloader Scope
Has anyone tried one of these scopes or seen one in action? I'm thinking about getting one. It says it is precisely for trajectories common to .50 cal. OmegaM/L using 150 gr. charges and 250 gr. bullets. Do you really think it's that accurate?
Thanks,
Darrell

RE: Nikon Omega Muzzleloader Scope
Its probably fairly close but every different brand of 250 gr bullet has a different BC so I dont see how they can be too exact. I was thinking of buying one also but with the long eye relief (which would be nice) they do loose some field of view compaired to other good scopes with less eye relief. I decided to buy a Bushnell Elite 3200 in 3-9X40. I have one on a 30:06 and they are a very good scope ( and I found one for less money).

IMO, Nikon makes great optics... I think that would be a great scope for a ML...
You can probably find it much cheaper in other places though...
