Happy July 4th everyone!

One of the first things I did when my wife and I bought our new home was to install a flag pole. I love raising the flags, U.S and Arizona, just as the sun is coming up and then snapping off a salute.

Unfortunatly I do not have a picture of our home with the flags, so this will have to do instead:

I've always dreamed of being able to do that, with a 3" Ordnance rifle or 12-pound Napoleon in my front yard next to the flagpole, to use to fire a salute every morning at 0600 when the Flag goes up, and in the evening at 1700 when it comes down.
