Oh boy! I sure hope that it is not going to get me in trouble with all the conical shooters?

Which reminds me... several weeks/monthsago I got hooked on an episode of "MYTH BUSTERS" - I really wish I had recorded it... They were comparing the results of different bullets asthey hit the intended target. The"Myth" being the hollywood depliction of a round actually picking up a guy and phyically pushing/throwiing him backwards several feet. They shot all kinds of guns at differentchunks of meat... from full bore 50's down to the little guns. It was a great show, but they provedthe big hit to be a"myth" - gosh I wish Ihad recorded that one... at the time I never even thought about conical vs small rifle.

One of my favorite shows is Myth Buster although some of the stuff they test is more common sense then needs to be tested. But it makes a good show. I've heard hunters tell me how they shot this deer and the force of the bullet wrapped the deer around a tree. I hate to tell them that the deer probably reacted to being shot, and simply spun around with a tree in the way...

I just think of the effect in terms of extremes - would you rather be hit by a feather going 40 mph or a train at 20 mph? :D
