I forget who I read posts from, but I was under the impression the T-bolt model White was the one to avoid. They always talked about the M97, 98 and the Super 91 as the rifles to own. I got this M97 because of the price of course, but also it had the longer barrel that I wanted and the stainless steel. For the money, after the Ultra Pimp worked on me , I could only see this as a win win situation.

As for the pull cock models like my Wolverine, I would have no problem with one of them. I like my Wolverine.

Yes! that's the one - it reminds me of an old Mauser model 98 bolt action - had a couple of them once....

Bet they are expensive....
Just checked White Rifles .com $600.00 - think I will stay with the one I got...but looks are so important- ah! never mind... do not even wnt to think about it anymore...

I do NOT recommend the Thunderbolt.

I don't know what ever possessed me to get rid of my Super 91 other then White going out of business at the time. If I could get another one and a couple of spare parts I would probably buy another

You could still get one of these Ultra Mags (Phoenix, AZ Sportsman's Warehouse). Doc has some Super 91-II models (no under-rib on the barrel).

that link should put you to Doc's site. Even to the Super 91. I almost bought one of them instead of the Ultra Mag .504.
