have not seen one first hand. but saw the Ccmmercial on it last night. DAMN NICE lookin gun. Kinda regret not waiting a few more months to get my Encore. But that is the nature of the game. Always something new and improved.

I am sure they will sell a ton of them.

What did they change on it? Or what makes it different?

I've seen pictures and it looks like a fancy modified Encore Muzzleloader. It sure has some nice lines to it. I will be interested to see what the first person who gets one, thinks of it and how the rifle performs. I think they will be an excellent rifle as the Encore is an excellent rifle and Thompson Center is a great company to do business with.

I have not seen it first hand either. It is apparently a fancy encore with a fluted barrel. Nice looking gun. I heard that the retail would be around $1100.00cdn. I won't do the conversion to US. lol.

I called T/C last week. They say these guns will run about $75 more than a comparably equipped regular Encore. Expect to be sending them out to dealers sometime in April.

Fluted barrel, Engraving, some sort of recoil supression in the stock, and a new breech design, not threaded screwin some sort of degree turn and pull out.

If anyone is interested, Cabelas is already carrying the barrels for the Encore Pro. I saw centerfire and 50 cal muzzleloader in Ft. Worth the other day.
