I ordered two and they showed up yesterday - they are sturdy! i put one on one of the range rods in the house and ran patches in and out of every 50 cal ML I have in the house - even had to unbag all the ones in the back room. The tool sure was smoothand it did seem to me to reduce some resistance.

I will use it to load projectiles this week end. I am hoping to get out and do some more Omega testing, but I do need to sight in my son-in-laws 270 - he has been waiting for a month or two now after installed a new scope.

i like that washer on back. i am going to try that on my jag.that should keep everything straight going down.i just leave my jag loose now and it turns but it is brass and most likely will break if i push it to hard someday.also i dont think we are doing threads of the rod any good also turning in all time. but so far, i have not had problem.

Well, i got to use my new spin jag today. It really worked great. I was shooting my Omega and it has a QLA, if I had been shooting anything else that I own, the fiber washer would really have provided extra protection to the crown as I was pushing (using the jag like a short-short starter) the sabot and projectile down the barrel.

Another plus was as I was pushing it down there was not torque on the the range rod - the sabot twisted its way down without trying to twist the range rod.

While running patches - I could NOT break the old habit of tightening, or least trying to tighten the jag in the range rod.

It is expensive, at first, but I think over time and as much shooting as do it will easily pay for itself....
