Rifle rest.

Needs some finishing touches yet and a better picture but I have my first prototype wood rifle rest about finished.
Need to shoot from it and work out some bugs too. One thing I found yesterday as I was nearly complete was the rear elevation bolt I had was way toooooooo longggg. Elder moment struck at that point so I didn't do one. Finally this morning I came to my sences, DA just cut the bolt off. No need for it to be as long as the front one the way I see it.

OH YA, The new to me Remington 700 ML in 50 cal. NO I do not believe the dealer cleaned this one up either. There were some nasty ML's on the used rack includeing a T/C black Diamond for $95.00 (as is)that was just plain awful.

Thanks for the nice comments. As I said it is a prototype, I want to build a metal one once my scrape iron pile thaws out. This wood one is all built from scrape 2 x4's I have from building our honey house. I wil try to get a total picture of it to post some time today.
