RE: Encore 209x50 Extractor Question

I installed the EZ Extractor on mine and like it. I guess removing it all together would work fine also unless the primer got stuck.

I just don't understand why T/C doesn't sell the Encore with the EZ already installed. I mean, your spending $550+ on a damn rilfe and they want to nit pick you for $14.

Soo true!! here is a nice gun and we got a Great Idea but you have to spend some extra money to get it!! Kinda like offering you a steak and only giving you a fork.

RE: Encore 209x50 Extractor Question

I bought an EZ for mine. The only thing I did notice upon placing it in the rifle was that it was a slight tighter fit and didn't fit as loose as the factory original.I might have to hone it a little. Good idea on removing it totally. I didn't really see much benefit unless one did get stuck in there.

I know this is an old question but it answered one of mine.
I ended up removing the extractor altogether and just carry this small extractor tool in case of a stuck primer
Available on Amazon for $6
