Default T/C Encore 209x50 Split Stock

Has anybody had a problem with their Encore,As far as the wooden models. The stock split on mine. After talking to several other people I found out that this is a quite common occurance. Also have any of you had any dealings with their product support?

Send it back to T/C. They will probably replace it at no charge.
Their customer service is A-1.

I called T/C .They told me to send it back .No problem.I also ask if I could switch to the Advantage camo composite so I would not have to worry about the same problem again. They again said no problem.I will continue to buy their products!

My T/C Renegade years back split. I called them and explained what happened, and they had me send it back to them. When it returned to me, the new stock was perfect, and fitted to the barrel, all set to go. You will be glad in this case that it is a T/C... their support is wonderful, as the others have said...

I'm really curious to see how they handle my 209x45 Encore. The rifle is on its way to them now. I can throw rocks with better accuracy than I achieved with that rifle. And I'm lousy with rocks!

Underclocked, I have never heard of anybody having accuracy problems with one of these guns.I did but that was because of the split stock. It was just a little hairline looking thing but it screwed up everything.Keep us posted on your results.......swampdog

I'm afraid lots of folks with the .45 caliber variation are having troubles with accuracy. Mine might be THE worst of those I've read about though. TERRIBLE!

Man,That ain't cool.I thought the ".45" thing was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread. And I was thinking about getting a .45 cal. barrel.

I just bought a .45 cal. mzl barrel for my encore and it shoots great. I have been shooting 100 grs. of pyerdex pellets with a 195 gr. powerbelt bullet. Now this same gun with the 300 win mag barrel that I have I have had a lot of accuracy problems with. I have already sent it back to t/c twice on the first go around they did something with the headspace and on the second time they said they recrowned the barrel. I haven't shot it yet because it is to close to my rifle season and I have already mounted the scope that I have for it on my 308. But after deer season is closed I am going to shoot the heck out of it.
