RE: First Attempt with Pellets.

Cuyagard,

That is some good info. You are seriously dedicated to be out there in 30 degree, snowy weather.

So at this point in your testing would you ever consider hunting with pellets due to the ease of loading and carrying and stick to loose powder for shooting?

Yes, I could see hunting with pellets because of ease of loading, but their cost would deter that real fast. As for 30ºs .. at least it was warm. Only needed a light jacket. A little snow never bothered anyone. :D When you live where I do, you look forward to the nice days like yesterday.

cayugad: from what I see on all the targets, everything is hitting slightly to the left. I'm surprised that you don't move it a tad to the right. If this is at 50 yards, it will be more at 100, right?

Yes the scope seems to need a little adjustment. I thought I would wait until warm weather and see if it moves back on its own. At a 100 yards they would be almost 2" to the left and that is just not allowed... It could also be because I normally shoot Goex so I want to try shooting the loads with Goex and see if that moves them back too..
