RE: Red Dot Sight

i think ,without knowing a lot about the HOLOGRAGHIC SIGHTS ,that is way to go. BUT ,we cant use them in the late muzzleloader season here in pa. we can only use V sight .this is why the V-PEEP is a v sight.regular peep is a no ,no. also that v-peep lets in light and makes it easy to see over the front sight as i like to aim ,just under bullseye so sight is not covering it at 50 yards or so. good info. maybe the state of pa. will change rule but a lot like the original sights in late season as it is more of sport. I DO TOO but my eyes are getting bad like a lot of us and we like to use flintlocks over the in-lines. i remember when you had to use only a roundball here in your muzz in pa. now,you can use my MAXI-BALL 370 GR in your muzz. take care.

RE: Red Dot Sight

I use a red dot on my slug gun, makes for fast target aquisition. Did learn a couple of lessons this year, mine does not hold the last sight in, once i changed batteries. Also it is mounted over fiber optic sights and I noticed when bringing it on target the front fiber optic stood out more and I was looking at that more than my dot. Just a few lessons I learned.
