Gun Shopping Need Some Help To Get The Right One

underclocked.. I agree with you. I think it was a ploy by Knight to make a little extra money by in corporating something "they sell" to use their rifle. It makes it kind of like a rifle no one could walk up and just use unless they know Knight. Granted I wish I could just put a primer in the rifle and shoot it, but that is not the case. I still really enjoy the rifle, the primers are a pain that I suffer because I like the rifle, and it sure is a good shooter.

I use a stainless TC Omega. They aren't cheap but you don't have to fool around with plastic discs. The Omega has an excelent trigger and theyshoot very good. The Omega is designed to shoot 150 grs. of loose powder where alot of the less expensive guns are only rated for 150 grs. if you use discs., 120 grs. loose; ie Nef Sidekick for one.

I've come to like the plastic jackets. I also use the 25 ACP conversion for my Omega so I mess with either a red plastic jacket or a 25 ACP case. I've come to like them especially for hunting. They are easier to handle than a plain primer.

I thought that the disks provided some benefit. Don't the disk seal off against moisture? Don't the disks provide a more consistent ignition?

statjunk... in their video I always smile when the hunter drops his disc rifle in the pond, lifts it out, dumps the water out of the barrel and then fires it... I think they might indeed help keep the rifle waterproof/resistant. It would be more interesting if they put a rifle underwater for like a half an hour and then pulled it up to see if it shot...
