Sightrons are the best scopes for the money. They combine clarity, all three proofs, full, replaceable lifetime warranty, very good eye relief & plenty of swivel room for adjustments front & rear. Best of all, that inexpensive SI will allow you to be at 3-power ... then move it to 9-power without readjusting for clarity. That's a great feature hunting & at the range. Here's the best online prices. I have the 2.5-10X40 - now only offered in 44 reticle. Paid only $129 for it almost two years ago. You want (# U30762) for $129

I almost bought a sightron 2.5x10X32 (all they had at the time and place where I bought my scope), it was an excellant scope and I couldn'tmake my mind up between it and the Nikon 3X9X40. I ended upgoing with the Nikon only because of the 40mm. I love the Nikon but I wouldn't hesitate for one minute buying a sightron. Clarity was as good if not better than the Nikon and both where far better than the lower end Leupold's. I feel when you get down to the 150.00 200.00 range the Leupold's aren't of as good of quality as some of the other mfg's. Just my opinon.

I just ordered a Sightron 1X from Midway USA....Paid $116.04 shipped.
I needed the 1X due to in Wisconsin you have to use a 1X or red dot during muzzle season. I will be getting a 3x9 Sightron most likely next for target and basic playing around with shooting. Thinking of getting some Warne QD rings and then be able to swap scopes at will and be ready for action!
Anyone know the best place to get the best deal on the Warne rings/base??

Be sure and keep me posted on how well that 1X Sightron works for you. I have a rifle I have been itching to scope but I use it in our Muzzleloading season and so as you know, in Wisconsin, no magnification. That might be just the ticket....

I never even knew they made a 1X ...I will be sure and check them out at that sight. Thanks.
