Need Scope Base for Encore 209
Hi all,
I think this topic has been covered, but I can't find the answer in the available archives. I want to mount a scope on my Encore 50 cal. I am going to put a Weaver Grand Slam 1.5-5 power on it. Weaver style rings are fine with me and available via Bear Basin where I intend to buy the scope. My question is, "what base do I need?" Is the base special for the Encore or is it generic and any base that is weaver style ring ready going to work?
Any help is appreciated.
Iowa whitetail season opens next weekend and it's time to get a scope on this thing.
