I live in Auburn, and commute frequently to Ithaca and Syracuse. Does anyone from that 'corridor' know where I might find 30 gr. Triple 7 pellets? I know, it seems like a simple thing to find, but I can't seem to locate them. Even the beloved Bass Pro Shops only carries the 50 gr. variety.
I don't mind going a little way out of my way to get them, but I want to tune my loads at the range this weekend, so something fairly close by would be great.
Thanks in advance.

You might want to try a search using "Froogle" which is part of the "Google" search engine net work. You can put in what your looking for such as "Muzzleloading Supplies" and then the city to start the search near. You can also set the distance you're willing to drove.
At least it will give you some locations you can then telephone and save yourself a lot of driving around...

If I were unable to get Triple Se7en in pellet form I would sure go loose. You will save a bundle of money and you can get as good or better accuracy using the loose powder then the pellets. Once you get into the swing of loose powder it is a piece of cake.
Another powder you might want to look into is called American Pioneer Powder in FFFg grade. The FFg is too course. There is no crud ring, and the clean up is real easy to do.
