Default Looking to get into BP

Looking to try my hand at blackpowder. would this http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...amp;hasJS=true be a good rifle to buy? and i know NOTHING about BP so any additional what to buy stuff would be great.

Strange, last year they were selling them for $99.00 now I see they have inflated the price to catch all of those looking for the upcoming hunting season. I am sure it is a good rifle, but for what they are asking, save a little longer or look a little harder and I think you can do better then that. I am sure the rifle would be a good 100 yard rifle, its just that there are better ones on the market.

If what your looking for is a break open design perhaps check into some of the Optima's if you just want a low cost rifle...

Don't be in a hurry, look at some of the different on site stores and there are good deals out there. And the forum is more then glad to answer your questions....
