It's all personal preference.. and depends on what distances you plan to shoot.

Right now I'm up in the air between a Meuller 2-7 x 32 or a 3-10 x 40 w/ the lighted recticle.

Any quality rifle scope that can handle strong recoil will work. A word of warning, with some loads the recoil can get brutal so make sure you have good eye relief so you do not end up getting kisses by the scope. I like at least 3.5 inches of eye relief or better.

Kissed? It feels more like a "bite" to me :(

Maybe I founda more aggressive kisser then you...Roskoe Then again, bite might be a better word. I remember one occasion where a friend shot his Firebolt and she drew a little blood!

thanks guys for the advice so all I need is a decent rifle scope that can stand the recoil of the ML and not bite me. Just one more thing do you guys prefer a fixed powered or something with some zoomage(not a technical term)in it

I prefer a 3x9x40 to a fixed power

There again that is a personal preference. At firstI thought I would only need a 1.5x4.5-32 mm Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn for my inline. I mounted that scope and it works great. Good light gathering and excellent durability so far. Then on the target range I started shooting longer distances and though, "Sure would be nice to have a 2x7 or a 3x9 power for that extra ability to see distances. I have not changed the scope out yet. But the next scope will be a 3x9 power. Not so much that I would use it hunting, but on the range I would use it....

Again, personal preference.
