Does anyone know where you can buy a mold for the T/C Maxi-Ball .54 / 365Gr.? I found out after calling T/C they no longer makes this round. I am down toone box and starting to panic?
The bullet shoots so well out of my gun I just hate to change so close to hunting season.

Watch the gun auctions. Every once in a while they show up for sale. They usually draw a good price so be prepared for that. Or you can go to http://www.blackjackhill.com/ Black Jack Hill Muzzleloading Supplies. Bill there makes the maxi ball for the rifle and sells them at a reasonable price. Thanks Cayugard, I did check the site but he only has the 400Gr. I guess I will have to keep my fingers crossed one showes up or just make the change.

Lyman used to make molds for maxiball style bullets.

You might want to get a hold of some of the 380 grn REAL conicals and give them a try on the range.. You don't say what the twist is of your barrel, but the REALs have shot very well from the 1:48" twist barrels that I have. Moulds for them are readily available.

I have a T/C hawken .54, 1:48- my thoughts were the same on the REAL .380'S, the Gr. is just about what I am looking for and the research I have done everyone gives them high marks. Thanks
