Default A Handy Percussion Cap Carrier

Most guys use a capper of some sort when hunting with a caplock gun. And some speed loaders have a provision for holding a cap.

But I like to carry extra caps and those darn cap tins can be hard to open under some conditions. Little screw top plastic bottles of glass beads from a craft shop make mighty handy carriers. They're cheap, so just throw the beads away or sew them to your hat for a little flair.

Good idea, thanks for sharing. I carry them in small pill bottles myself. They can't "accidently" open when dropped or stored away. Of course they don't have the "lid loop" to tie to whatever.

Good idea, and they can be used for other things. Loop top is what makes it work.

I like my capper but those would make good hunting speed loaders for set powder charges.

Great idea. Not only easy to find but that tube should be water proof. I will have to use that idea... thanks.
