congrats magic, I really wanted to shoot a buck with my gpr but i went out with some friends who like to walk the draws and i did not feel comfortable shooting at a deer on the run with the muzzy so i used my 7mm and ended up tagging a nice 4x4 but i saved my doe tag for the muzzy. Maybe next year i will draw the any deer muzzy tag with any luck lol.

Last week I had my change to hunt in KS. We're only allowed one antlered deer in KS. It's not my best work but here it is. As you can see it a busted up rack. If it all was there it would be a dandy but tis is what I have.

The deer was going left to right through the trees about sunrise. I could see the nice tall tines and thought if it steps out past the last tree I'm shooting. He stepped and I shot. I was bummed when the rack was busted up but here he is ( mines the smaller one on the right ):

I used my Omega at 135 yards, 100 grains BH209 and Scorpion PT 300.

My buddy shot the 10 point with a CF. Oh yea, I have a doe tag I'm gonna fill if my daughter doesn't shoot here deer.

Score me a zero for M/L deer. It is only the third day of late M/L for me, but duty calls at work.

I did manage to get frost bite on my nose, so deduct 25 points from my team. I have hunted much colder and never had that happen. I must have poor circulation any more?
