Default Very Expensive Moose Hunt

OK
Well last fall I went on a BC Moose/Caribou Combo along with Bear and Wolf Tags. When the hunt was said and done it ran about $10,000........... Not really[]
I was driving home from BC with 600# plus of Moose meat which was in 8 Game bags in the back of my wifes Grand Cherokee. Well I lined the back of the Jeep with a plastic tarp and bought bags of ice to cover the meat with and covered that with another tarp.
Well somehow it leaked into the back carpeting. I have cleaned, shampooed, and cleaned and shampooed to no end. I finally ripped out the carpet in the back.
Well it still smelled like something died and yes everyday I had to here from my wife to do something about the stench.
Happy Mothers Day Deb.
Cost of Hunt and New 2005 Jeep Laredo...............................$36,000

Yeah I hear ya! Seems I have wrecked every SUV my wife has driven for the past 15 years. Had to buy her a new one on my drive back from Wyoming last year when I blew the engine in Illinois. Haven't perfumed that one yet but i have no doubt I will

What about going through the border Bob? Hell, last week U.S. customs confiscated my dog food that I bought in Alberta as I was going back in to Montana, I guess I just look suspusious. [8D] Bobby

No doubt that dog food was a terror weapon.

Been there.....though luckily not as costly as you...lol

Years ago, before I had a truck I used to bear hunt out of the family station wagon (Ford ******). I killed two bears one weekend and we had to tote them home whole in the back of the wagon on a tarp.

The wife was not happy.

Moose/Caribou hunt, guide, lodging, tags......$10,000
New 05' Jeep Cherokee...........$36,000
Moose Steak on the grill..........PRICELESS!!!!!!!

You guys do know they make a truck for a reason????? If a truck isn't a reality or your one of those actually thinks the SUV's get way better gas mileage than your HUNTIN' Truck, they make this little thing that has an axle, wheels, frame, deck or box and it hooks onto a hitch so you can pull it with making no mess or fuss to your rig....it's called a trailer!

Nice ride the wife has now though!

Bobby, that is crazy. BSE what a joke but that is a different topic for a different forum and different day...
