I would use a Booking agent and be done with it. One that has been in business for a long time. Atchesons and Rich Larocco at www.hunts.net come to mind. I have been on multiple hunts with outfitters suggested by them and never had a hitch all that was promised was delivered. Hope that helps and good luck on your quest.

I'd recommend going to the SCI meeting and talking with the various guide services and hunters who attend.

Yes, travel to Canada and Mexico will now require a passport.

It was always a good idea to travel with a passport when taking firearms.

Rebel,
any guide/outfitter worth their salt should be able to provide a long list of satisfied clients and phone numbers. Make sure you call them. You can even make up a little questionaire to evaluate their responses. Satisfied clients will always be happy to talk to you about their experience and recommend the guy, as long as you don't call them at 2am:D
