I am hunting in Colorado this year. First rifle season, and was wondering what I can expect? I am hunting Unit 42 just outside of Silt on prvate land. Thanks for your reply

Well, hopefully it will cool down by then still pretty warm, and they have gotten some rain out that way last week. Often, will here bulls bugle first and sometimes second rifle season, so be out of camp early, and be ready to go to them, if ya can catch 'em still bugling. Be prepared for cold weather, 'cause it could happen, but it may end up being in the 70's too, just never know. I haven't hunted that area, so you're on your own there, but should be good. Good Luck!
