I know alot of people dont like the propane but as dry as it is here thats just about all we can use. If you use the proper precautions it works great, BUT, if you dont............

A old military tent. Does it have a floor? Does it have a flap for a stove in the top of the tent? Does it have the vent flaps in the very top of the tent?
My small propane stove will heat my military tent nicely. It does take a little while to do so but not that long.
Ventilation. What I did was to take the stove pipe and made a vent hood over the stove + with the top vent flaps and with what air that does get in I could hardly tell that the stove was on. I do not sleep with it on in case it was to blow out.
