Snake Proof with wool socks.
I rub No Scent Secret deoderant on my feet.
Your feet get cold cause they sweat, this will keep them dry.
Plus they won't stink everyone out of camp when you remove
your boots.

I have a pair of Danner's and they are great! Very comfortable, lightweight, however I would go with thte insulated versions.

Don't think that you have to buy the most expensive boot to be the most comfortable. I bought my Brahma boots at Wal-Mart for under $25. They protect my ankle, are water proof and are extremely comfortable. Don't count out the underdog.

I have a pair of the pronghorns in the 400 gram. If it gets colder I will wear wool socks. I boned out an elk last year at the edge of a creek and stood in the water for an hour and my feet were still dry. My next pair will be Danner pronghorns again.
