Right on Trapper - congrats!!! That's a great lookin' bull - I like the orange hue to the antlers! Have you scored him? He looks like about 300.
I spoke to you in the spring about bears. How is Chad doing? When did you shoot him? Were they bugling much? I hunted around your neck of the woods from the 7 - 11th and shot mine on opening morning but they weren't bugiling. I also went back last weekend, but they were quiet...

The bull was shot buy my partner,it was shot in the west kootenays sept 17(you need limited entry for that area) BareBack Jack you know your elk it gross score's just over 330 and nets around 321 Mt^Boy haven't seen Chad for awhile,he got hurt on a Quad and has been laid up for awhile, congats on your bull.ya they haven't been bugling much the last couple of days with the clear skys and full moon,we sure have seen lots of 5 point elk(they need to be 6 point or bigger to be legal here for those who don't know our regs.)the morn we got the elk they were quiet,we had walk in about 3km.on some quad trails it was raining a little, and was foggy just got on top of a ridge when this bull walked out knot more then 30yds. away didn't take long to figure out he was a good bull.for those who don't know this area is famous for huge bulls.JD338 the bull was taken buy rifle.

Trapper, Right on! I shot mine in your 'hood and you shot yours in mine. I'll never draw a tag... I originally posted 320, but later changed it when I saw that G3 wasn't a cheater...
Here's a pic of mine - he was 297 gross. They look pretty similar:
