I'm having the exact same problem as you are....only with whitetails. It just seems as though I just can't get enough and want to pack 5 years of hunting into one year. During the season, when I get off stand I'm thinking about when the next time I can get out and where I'm going to go. Plain and simple.....I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!

I get so worked up sometimes I feel like a little kid waiting for the fair. I get so worked up I want to run outside and rub my head up and down on the bark of a tree. (Don't try that at home, kids, it's hard on the noggin.) It's fair to say that I'm constantly thinking about elk hunting (or deer hunting).

Imagine having a resident herd of Elk down the road and watching the Bulls grow everyday as you pass leaving your house.

O god yes. Everyday I am strategizing and dreaming of the layout of my hunting areas and what may happen. I've already been up scouting 3 times. One bull is already a 5x4 about 30 inches wide. Awesome! I'm gonna be hunting the "Front." What about you guys? Elksniper I'm gonna guess you're going in the elkhorns...

I share your pain. Sometimes I zone out at work and find myself in the woods again, stalking a 300 class bull elk. Then after work, I look at hunting gear and elk pictures online just thinking about how great this next elk season is gonna be.
