A close hutning buddy of mine has a sister that lives in Arizona, near Flagstaff I believe. Their friends are elk hunters and they have said that one or two of us could come hunt some time with them. Anyone familiar with this general area? I know there are some big boys in the state of AZ.

This hunt is probably out on the "radar screen" quite a ways in terms of the future, but just curious??

If yer talkin bulls then your heart may stop beating before ya get drawn here. There are great bulls here and NM but drawing here is a slim chance. Maybe if your freinds have built up a bunch of points it will help you. Based on past experience you might want to put in for cow if you want to have your hunt before your 90th birthday. i agree with gleninaz here, i used to live in az and never been drawn there, although i wont quit trying cuz ive seen whats there to hunt however my sh@#$t head brother in law seems to have all the luck cuz he seems to always get drawn but sure enuff if i put in with him his luck will stop
