Caribou, moose and then ruffed grouse. And by the way, it really can be hard to beat a young black bear roast. The worst, an old boar black bear.

When I was in the Peace Corps (Zaire) pangolin aka scaly anteater was the primo bush meat. So good they' re endangered just about everywhere they live.[I didn' t know it at the time and regret killing the 3 I got back then] |

RE: wid meat
I believe it has a lot to do with what a animal is feeding on , But after trying most of everything , I would say Caribou is my favorite, with moose running not far behind...BT

RE: wid meat
Moose and Elk run a tie for my fav. A close second is whitetail deer, antelope, caribou & upland game. Following up in third is geese, ducks and mule deer. The best I ever tasted was bighorn sheep...but since i can't hunt them I ain't picking them. The worst I ever tasted was black bear shot here in Saskatchewan but I have heard mountains bears provide better table eats.
