Default Pa bear 2024

My second pa black bear. 120lbs

Shot 140 yards through the woods while it climbed up over the log behind it in the picture.

Nice One Jake !

My guess is you were rewarded with Bear steaks for being a good hearted Judge for letting ButchA off the hook !

Jake believe me if I was still capable I'd be up there too. But honestly I really don't care if I shoot another PA bear but I won't pass uo the chance!
Looking at the pic, did you shoot it in the head?
You told me the story and that happened twice to me. You no sooner sit down and you shoot one. Heck one time I just broke the crest of that shelf and had one sitting in the bowl!

It was angled hard away from me and the bullet exited below the eye socket.

Dropped it in its tracks. - jake

It was standing on that upper log behind it. Fell down between the logs after the shot.

Good for you. I'm happy for you. Maybe when you get my age you can pass that spot on to your kid(s)! LOL
