Default Bear Rug

Got my Oklahoma archer bear rug in. The taxidermist did a wonderful job! I would love to keep him on the floor but afraid one of the pups will tear it up when I'm not looking.

It looks like your taxidermist did an awesome job on your bear rug. Congratulations!

Thanks fellas. It was my first bear and will probably be my last unless i get lucky. Was special getting it here in Oklahoma as we just don't have many. Only 70 were taken state wide that year.

Good luck JW. Hope ya get a good one.

Bear hunting got under my skin in 2013 when I first moved to PA.

I didn't get a bear (or even see one in season) until 2019 and I got that one thanks to another member here, bronko. I couldn't believe it when I saw that black shape running through the woods towards me.

I still hunt them every season that I can. Even knowing that the chances are low.

My next bear will be a rug.
