Default 2022 Plans?

What’s everyone’s plans for this year?

For me it’s all draw dependent. I should draw a WY turkey tag. I have an 85% chance of drawing an Iowa bow tag. I plan on hunting there around Halloween for a week or so. I also applied for a WY Deer tag and will squeeze in a hunt before I go to Iowa around the last week in Oct.

Then I’ll catch the VT rifle and Muzzleloader seasons.

Best of Luck to all.

I will hunt whitetail and small game in Ohio.

Whitetail, bear, turkey and small game in PA.

I will apply for PA elk, Kentucky elk, Maine moose, and will put in for points in Wyoming.

I may try to sneak down to Florida and do a goodHog hunt. But that's up in the air still.

I will do the annual rifle whitetail season here in Kansas along with small game. If I can find some companions, I might look into a western Kansas pheasant trip. My interest in birds and shotguns has gone way up lately, courtesy of a trap shoot last fall and a purchase of a fine handling over/under in December.

Pheasant. Man that would be a great trip. Grew up quail hunting but that is a by gone thing in the SE. Let us know how that goes or if you need extras.

I found out there is a late season pronghorn hunt in southeast CO that runs the entire month of DEC. I have 3 points and will probably try for that tag.
