You can take all hunting firearm incidents and find a TAB-K rule that was not followed! In some cases more than 1!
Safe Hunting is No Accident.

Yup talking safety never gets old.

Hate to hear about anybody getting hurt. 3 seconds of safety will prevent stuff like this

^^^^ What he said. It's impossible to shoot someone if you're not pointing your gun at them or have an unlucky ricochet. Even with one of those faulty Remington 700 triggers.

We forget the basics and that gets us in trouble. Sad story!

Forget, or get lazy.

As flags said..3 seconds is all it takes to unchamber the round before crossing an obstacle.

I'm sure we're all guilty of it.

Article in this morning's paper regarding a 71 year old hunter from Elizabethtown PA shot in the head by a juvenile hunter who was a relative while shooting at a deer on a power line in Cambria Co. PA. The victim was 300 yards away. Sounds like no one was watching the background of the line of fire.

I saw that as well. Sad. .
