Bosque de Oso, Colorado Bear Tag
Earlier this year I bought a CO small game license because my brother wants me to come up and do some pheasant hunting this fall. Since that counts as a "qualifying" license I decided to also put in for preference points for deer, elk, pronghorn and a CO bear tag for the Bosque de Oso WMA since I had 14 points. They issue 2 tags that are good for all the seasons in Oct and Nov and well, I pulled that bear tag. Bosque de Oso WMA has the highest bear density in the entire state of CO. So hopefully I will take my 3rd CO bear this fall.

Probably my old 7mm Mag. Been shooting it for over 40 years and I know where it hits out to 500 yards. Got a lot of faith in it and know if I don't make a shot it is my fault and not the rifles. Got a really food handload with a 160 gr Nosler Accubond. But then I also have a new 308 that has never been bloodied.
