Wasn't sure which thread to post this, hopefully this works.
I just purchased my first rifle,
Xbolt Hells Canyon Long Range McMillan in 7mm REM mag.
I have read countless articles/forums trying to find out which ammo I should be shooting for Whitetail / Moose here in Saskatchewan, Canada. I understand it's a very opinionated topic, and that every rifle likes different ammo. I had the Hornady Superformance in the back of my kind for quite some time, but have read it is not a good deer round due to lack of expansion.
Hoping you guys would be able to mention a few brands/weights you would recommend for Whitetails/Moose and I'll buy up a box of each to test which my rifle likes the most.
Thanks alot!

Since no one has responded, I'll give my two cents. Nosler partitions are a classic, and I'm seeing that they are available as factory loadings in Federal Premium cartridges, maybe others as well . More than once I've heard it said "Noslers are never a bad choice." I'll leave it to you to decide on bullet weight.
Be aware that my answer is entirely based on reading. If others with experience give their thoughts, their advice and recommendations should outweigh my suggestion.

I have no experience with MOOSE but several of the guys I hunt with do,
and those two guys that use the 7 rem mag,
have had good results with the SPEER 175 grain grand slam bullets,
and have also used this bullet on mule deer and elk with no complaints
fed 215 primer, 59 grains of IMR 4831 and that bullet was the load both guys used
and neither of them had any issues
