You might have said it somewhere J but did you do anything with the skull? A bear skull makes for a nice trophy

Funny thing about that, my freezer busted, and I lost the hide because of the heat.

How about the actual skull? Any way of saving that? Just the bone portion? You can boil them to clean it up and set it on a plaque or shelf or something

I didn’t know I could keep the skull, and to be honest, I didn’t know how to process it. I lost everything when the freezer failed. Hide, skull, everything.

I was lucky to have some bear meat in the freezer in the house!

Man that does really suck. I lost a whole freezer one time. I habitually check my freezers now.

It helps that I get ready for work right beside my freezers (inside an attached garage). And I'm just in the habit of checking it daily. It sucked losing all that.

As for skulls, read this over. There are lots of methods, and you tube videos that show how to do it and different methods that people use. But this gives you a general idea.
