Did they change the season dates ?
There is limited information on the internet, pertaining to dates.

I booked my hunt starting Sep 22. I can't remember if that is the second or third week of the season. My hunt is also for both moose and caribou, with caribou being the primary animal.

2018 the season started the w/e of 9-8 where we were (northern peninsula).
I think it may vary depending on what part of the island you are on. Do you have plans with an outfitter, or anyone you have been talking with? Try their website for dates, or just give a call. The website was a bit confusing when I looked at it too, esp. if you don't know what area you would be in.
