Default Are black infrared cameras better?

All my game cameras use the older red led's for night time pics. Older bucks in my area, like most places, are ultra cautious. I've noticed anytime my cameras capture a good buck, he invariably looks at camera. I might get 1 or 2 more pics, but after that it's the last time they show up on the camera or in my fields.

Do the newer black infrared cameras spook deer less? Should I replace my current cams?
