Big Horn world record
The 9 year old ram was found dead on Wild Horse Island state park on Flathead Lake in 2016, along with 2 others that year. They all died of natural causes. You can not hunt Bighorns on the island. It measured 216 3/8. The old record was 209, it died by being hit by a vehicle in Alberta. The news release is on the Montana FWP website.

There is no hunting on Wild Horse Island. There are also some huge Mule Deer there and a small group of wild horses. People can visit it, take photos, etc. There are photos of that sheep on Facebook...I believe it scored around 216".
